AVG Alternatives?
I recall on one thread there was some discussion on alternatives to AVG, but can not find it. Would anyone be able to assist with alternatives or refer me to the thread. Many thanks ... fred

Hi Fred.
I used AVG for many years until a techo converted me to AVAST (free). Just search and you will find it. It updates virus data bases sometimes several times a day and if your sound is on, it will tell you when it does it. I am extremely happy with it. Enjay |

the issue i have with ACG is that it is an all in one program and also slows down most systems.

I use Avast home or server edition on workstations and servers.
Never had a problem unless when prompted the user chooses to bypass warnings and then blames the antivirus
