IAS new site changes
IAS new site changes, a big problem now as I usually observe openers and fluctuations, sometimes during racing, but often at the end of the day or next day and beyond, from what I can make out this info is longer available unless I've missed something? been on to their customer service and I may as well enquire to my 1 year old Grandson. Anyone else found a problem?

I'm not surprised as they were taken over by an overseas mob recently? you might want to check readbet now, whether he has historical data, i'm not sure though.

Shaun, yes looks like I will have to swap to Betchoice, but do you realise that the openers are not the same as IAS,... well that is to say lots of em are but not all.
Its kinda like saying the PPfav, most publications its the same horse but not all. Still, as they've moved the goalposts I'll just take the business elsewhere, especially as they don't seem to interested in replying to my e-mail, except to point me to the results section which does not address my query. |

Hi guys,
Yes the IAS openers are not prepost nor track openers, they are Mark Read's ratings from his ratings database rounded down to the vig. I believe he sold the whole lock stock and barrel to Paddy Power? I know the deal included his ratings database (or access to), surely he must be potty???? And during the site upgrade one was able to get all fluctuations even historical ones for a time. Then they realised "the mistake" and slammed the door in my face

I guess if you were after true openers that IAS was not the site to use in the first place, Mark has always said BetChoice was more realistic to prices. |

Yes, Shaun, I agree to a point as I made some comparisons for a while but found IAS easier for what I wanted.

Yeah not happy.
As IAS are pure ratings, and Betchoice are track openers, it's not a question of which is more accurate or more correctly which is more profitable. IAS kills track odds for ratings. IAS are ratings done by the best in the business. Track odds are done by Vince Aspinall, with an adjusment for early money (prepost). Then the bookies play follow the leader. A simple indication and quantification is that one can make a killing backing horses that open shorter on track than IAS openers. A double edge is to be had laying those that open longer on track than IAS openers. But we've been down this road before, better go before the next ebook or website is launched by the plagiarists out there. You know who you are >
