I would like to see the results from a couple different systems testers there are a couple out there that seam to provide different results for the same system.

I am looking for a couple volunteers that have these testers to provide results for a few simple tests.

What i need.

Database name.
length of time system was run, prefer last 12 months.
Number of selections.
Wins
SR
Profit or loss
POT

Why the difference?
There are a number of reasons.
Bet Selector uses strike rate per race, not strike rate.
Bet Selector uses NSWTAB dividends, I use Unitab.
Bet Selector has NewZealand and Hong Kong races, I only include Australian races.
Bet Selector handles fields where there is no place pool betting as a place loss rather than returning the stake for all runners.

You will note there are more selections for RaceCensus though, any errors have been manually fixed in RaceCensus, so problems with form are not just ignored.

I am surprised you have bet selector since you program your own database.

Shaun, I had Bet Selector first when it was Price Predictor Pro.
I now use it for cross checking and error checking.

Out of curiosity I also did a Bet Selector test, here are my results:

Range: 31/1/2011-31/1/2012
Races Bet: 601
No. of selections: 629
Wins: 115
Runner S/R: 18.3% (you can get this info, not just race s/r)
Profit/Loss: -$154.50
POT/LOT: -24.6%

Rules: Last start winner, days last start 1-7, age 3-5
These results were for Australian races only.

I can only test back to August but here :

There were 60272 horse form lines in the database at this point in time. We update when we get time.
There were 222 selections for the System
There were 211 races for the System
There were 43 Winners for the System for a strike rate of 19.37%
There were $179.16 returned for WIN (after 5% commission) which means a Profit or loss of $-42.84 or a percentage profit/loss of -19.3%

Test Another System

The Rules used were : lastStart = 1 and age >= 3 and age <=5 and daysLastStart >= 1 and daysLastStart <=7

Given this uses betfair prices it shows a slightly better result then the -25% from the other programs.
