Don't know what's going on with US BFSP's, but someone or something is going bananas.
Favourites paying 148% OVER tote price, 125% OVER tote price, and that's just the few I picked up on.
Funny that the SP liquidity hasn't changed much.
I am now totally convinced that a Betfair poster was correct, the crossmatching machine has been skimming all overrounds and in fact pushing them ocassionally over the edge.
Even in 100% or 98% markets, there are huge advantages and disadvantages to be had.

I have been watching prices the last few days as i have the BFSP estimate and final price on my sheet.

Just about every one of my selections was below the BFSP and i place my bets right on the start time.

Shaun, so do I get that the BFSP is greater than the last price available, proving my theory, or have I misinterpreted?

P.S. Can I ask how you are recording the prices?

I am not recording them so i can show examples unless i compare my betfair account to the BFSP but using Gruss with excel there is an option to show the BFSP before the jump and the final SP prices after they jump, i also have a cell that shows the last traded price.

Most times the BFSP is higher than last traded price.
