I have collected the following stats of overall strike rates of different aged horses from uselessbettor's site (to whom I am very grateful). The only filter used is win price < $27.

10 8.8

There is a pattern here and if place percent (for example) is used as a rating does this indicate an adjustment to a horse's place % should be made because

A. the place % of younger horses is too high?
B. the place % of younger horses is too low?
C. these stats are already included in a horse's place %?

I would appreciate your comments. I actually think it might be C but I waver.
