Following on from Barnys general ideas I trial a little system on the database to gather some thoughts on horses finding their peak rating at value

Just a quick test on the following found

2 Runs this prep
LS Finish 10th or more
2nd Finish 10th or more
3rd LS Finish = 1st

Looking to find horses maybe peaking at 3rd run

well its didn't work

120 races since October 2007 found a total of 2 winners ($13.00)

When looking for gold you might find silver. But is that a bad thing

Round 2 tonight I'll run over all venues every day of the week

I've tried looking at increase in distance and third up, 1200 to 1400 to 1600, with no luck.
