Well once again the big races of the spring carnival have been run and won and once again Melbourne has shown the rest of us in Australia, how to get behind, what not is only the greatest horse racing carnival here but the greatest in the world. It's a pity we in the eastern states don't embrace our horse racing like the mexicans, because if we did, our racing industry would be in a much better state than what is. I'm sure a few people who don't live in Melbourne will disagree with me, but if they were totally honest, they may find some truth in the point i'm making. Love them or hate them, i think Melburnian's have once again proved that they truly are the sporting capital of the world.
