Angry More sooks

Just been "restricted" (means banned) by Ladbrokes, another allegedly biggest in the world. What a bunch of sooks. Time for letters to the various parliaments.

I'm surprised you were not restricted on your first bet. They are extremely bad for it.

But their adverts are so inspiring, they bet on everything & payout so quickly(yeah right)...

Dr Turf was on radio last week giving the corps a spray as he had a footy bet restricted earlier that day & when he tried to get more on at lower odds they said 'no, that's enough'.

Slowly but surly word is getting around about their deceptive practices & it's long overdue now for some politician who has a pair to raise a stink.

I think gambling is so in your face these days that there are so many more people doing it and getting restricted even if they are losing punters.

I just wish the government would take this seriously.

I lasted a bit over a month with them. Surprising as I was betting hundreds and thousands a go on fixed odds.

Wish I was unrestricted. They're so unethical.

Yes, the first flag that they notice is anyone other than "recreational" punters.
They want drip feed of longterm losers.
In other words betting anything other than $50 a horse indicates professional, bye bye.
The funny thing is that one could be a professional loser,
But you don't need them anyway.
As Pat has demonstrated, just back anything under their odds on Betfair and away you go

On that note I'm gonna see what my Betfair P&L since Sept 12 is.

-52260.98 on Betfair side since Sept 12, 2013. It got up to -$58k at one stage but a week not long ago Betfair was +8k over 7 days. Scary if I was just doing back bets.

Not scary if you stake accordingly
More scary if you are having a large arb and the bookie rejects your opposing bet, or Betfair site goes down.
