This simple betting system has given a leg in to some great winners over the years.

Here are the rules.

1. The horse is having its third run in from a spell of at least 2 months.

2. The horse finished no better than 4th. in its first 2 runs.

3. It has won at least 3 races.

4. It has a winning strike rate of at least 33 1/3% - that is 1 win from every 3 starts.

That's it.
