Fellow forumites can you please help me settle an argument. I am a huge fan of Spinning Hill and my best mate is a bigger fan of Yell. On the last couple of ocassions Spinning Hill has had the better of Yell, much to my pleasure as you usually get decent odds about Spinning Hill when it is matched against Yell.

Just wanted your opinions on who you would back in a sprint race between these two. I know there are numerous race factors that must be considered, just your general opinion on the horses would be much appreciated. I always hear big wraps about Yell and I admit it is a top quality sprinter, but to me Spinning Hill is an absolute sprinting marvel.

both nice horses but i reckon spinning hill juuusssttt has the wood on yell.

i saw yell win at moonee valley recently and it is potentially a super sprinter. (already 4 g1's) so well on the way.

its difficult to compare horses other than to say that spinning hill has been and is an outstanding horse. If i hadnt seen yell win i would have no doubt said that spinning hill is the best. performances probably favour spinning hill.

yell beat potentially the best sprinter in australia in Innovation girl. she was a marvel. He also beat Northerly. I've got yell on top but have a huge respect for spinning hill.
