Unfortunately the entire thread got deleted when a Management post was edited.

The original post was deleted as it is not legal to publish parts of someone else's editorial without acknowledging the source.

Publishing someone else's editorial in its entirety and acknowledging the source may also not be legal.

We do not employ a team of investigative journalists, like the papers and TV stations that are backed by millions of dollars.

The post which then invited comments was deleted for two reasons, each sufficient on its own for deleting the post:

1. It appeared to use someone else's editorial in its entirety. This editorial was just identified as "a letter someone wrote."

2. We couldn't verify the facts of the matter at the time it was posted.

There are laws against copying other people's writing and of course defamation laws.

Further to the TAB suspending bets on the NSL, the team they took all the $$$ on, Parramatta, got done ! Just shows you, anyone or anything can win, and if they had any tackle they would have won more.
