The CIA were recruiting for a new agent,and after exhaustive testing,background checks etc. it was narrowed to 3 finalists,2 men and a woman.The recruitment officer took the first man aside and said to him"we must be sure that you will carry out orders under any circumstances,without question or allowing emotion to cloud your judgement or influence you in any way.This is your final test.Take this loaded gun and go into the room next door,where you will find your wife sitting at a table.Kill her."The man replied"I could never kill my wife."The agent told him that he was not the right man for the job,and to take his wife and go home.Then he called upon the 2nd man and gave him the gun,told him to go into the 2nd room down the hall where his wife was,and to kill her.The man took the gun and went into the room,but 5 minutes later came out and said"I'm sorry,I tried but I just couldn't bring myself to do it."Again the agent told the man to take his wife and go home.Then he gave the loaded gun to the woman and told her that her husband was sitting in the 3rd room down the hall,and to go in there and kill him.She took the gun and went into the room.Shot after shot was heard,then loud banging against the wall.Finally,after 15 minutes had passed,the door slowly opened,and there stood the woman,wiping the sweat from her brow."You **************,"she said,"that gun was loaded with blanks,I had to beat him to death with the chair!!"
