Hi All,

I've been doing one of my regular analysis of my betting, and it is very clear to me that Sunday and Monday are by far my worst betting days out of all. On both these days, I have lost considerable sums over the past year, and they are really holding me back.

While most of my systems show a historical profit over these days, they are currently not performing (over a year's worth of actual betting), and I'm wondering whether to just drop Sunday and Monday alltogether....

I'm wondering whether people here would consider that a good or bad move?

Cheers,
Chris.

I agree. Ive never had much luck on these days. They are usually donkeys. Its not reasonable to expect to win 7 days a week. If your system works well on the other days when your analysing horses and not donkeys, then I would ditch Sun and Mon and tighten up the system. You could just forget about the system for these two days and just have a normal bet, see how the sytem would be running if you were still doing it and count all the money you are saving

Cheers, megamoos

I only punt on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Public Holidays - leave the rest alone - works for me

I don't restrict myself by day of week but by race type.

I only bet on races of Class 6 and above (outside Syd & Mlb) and exclude all 2YO, hurdles and steeple racing.

Generally, this gives you a 20-22 race card to play with on a Saturday (S/M/B/A).
