Hi Michael,
Well here is my rundown for today. There is a slight problem i might have and that is i work from midnight till 9 am so normally i have a slaap and i dont get up till midday. Havent logged onto the tab yet so i dont know if any of these races have run yet or not. CANT HAVE THESE BETS.... Syd race 1 no1. Barrier 5/8. Syd race 7 no2. Barrier 8/10. Syd race 8 no1. Barrier 7/11.Apprentice jockey. Melb Race 2 no4. Barrier 12,backin distance, 1st metrop run. Bris rave 1 no11. Barrier 14,apprentice jockey. Syd race 2 no1. Barrier 11,apprentice jockey. For your system the same for Melb race 2no4 as stated above ^^^^. CAN HAVE BETS ON THESE. Melb race 6 no1. i know outside barrier, but good jockey and good price will not have in all-up due to barrier. Melb race7 no6. Good barier, weight and won at distance will put in all-up. W.A race 3 no1. Good Jockey, barrier will put in all-up. W.A race 2 no1.Bad barrier but best jockey bad price so i will include as a bet but wont put it in all-up due to price. Bris race7 no3. Good barrier and price will put in all-up. So my best bets will be Melb7no6 WA3no1 Bris7no3 Might add Melb6no1 if the price is over $4.00 Hope this info is helpful to everyone and my reasons for knocking horses is outside barriers even in fields of 8 and apprentice jockeys. I also always look for value so really $1.50 for the place will be the lowest i would like to go. I will be betting $10win $30 place for now and see how this pans out. Kind Regards Breadman. |

Hi Michael,
Well on my bets i ended up -$99 end the bets i layed i ended up -$100. But if i could have been more keen i could have had a slight profit with melb race 2 and syd race 8 would have gone into my bets because there price would have warranted them to be included but at the moment ive got a few hassles staying at the computer for the whole day betting. But i will be going back to check finishing prices etc. and im sure i can get your tips into a winning formula somewhere along the line. I must admit they are very exciting tips that you are giving and i wasnt really one for systems much but this one has really caught my eye. i am also on msn messenger if you are let me know and i will give you my addy and if you would like to chat it is heaps easier one on one. Anyway no doubt will catch up with you real soon ok. Good Luck and have fun. Kind Regards Breadman. |

Hi, Breadman.
I agree - barriers can be very important, especially in sprint races where the horse is not a fast beginner. I've seen some good horses beaten, because of a bad draw, even with a superior jockey. When it comes to barriers, luck can often be a major factor. However, as a trade-off, the dividends generally seem to compensate for the disadvantage. In my system, I disregard barriers as testing showed it not to be an excluding factor. I would assume Unitab and Tabltd consider the barrier draw when calculating their ratings, so I disregard barriers. But maybe, it might prove to be worthwhile??? Country horses progressing to metropolitan tracks can often be outclassed, especially at Saturday meetings. But sometimes they do win, more so at mid-week meetings. For example - Race2 no.4 at Sandown today. And its barrier draw was 3. My other selection failed badly, but I did hear it was examined by a vet prior to the race, which normally is not a good sign. Yesterday's (Tuesday) selection was not a genuine selection as it did not have two starts this campaign - my apologies! Hopefully you did back Melb R6 no.1, as it paid $2.10 to place. Michael. |

Hi, Breadman.
I missed your latest posting because I was writing mine. Unfortunately I know very little about computers, and would not know what to do or install msn messenger. But at least this forum gives everyone the opportunity to exchange ideas. Today there were some shockers - even with good barrier draws. |
