You didn't have the AFL/NRL spreads down on your computer did you?
Anyway I'm going to test my system against the '02 & '03 seasons for AFL, NRL and Super 12s. I think the system needs some adjustment for AFL thanks to the high scorelines, since it seems it (my system) is biased towards dogs. Might be the same for NRL, only testing will show that. |

Mr J,
I have a question. Why don't you just follow the AFL week in week out and make a personal judgement on who will win? |

No, I don't Mr J. I'm sorry about that.
In regards to the margins, I guess you'll have to look back at old scores and margins and try to work out some sort of average from there. If your system keeps coming up with small margins then obviously you will almost always be backing underdogs and some of them just don't deserve to be backed. |

Sportz, that's what I'm thinking. During the testing phase it backed alot of faves, where as now it's pretty much picking just dogs.
Primo, what do you mean? A well developed computer model is easier to build and is more consistent/not biased. |
