I know this is not the place for it...but hey i will ask anyways......i am inporting TAB prices to excel...what i need to do is have them sorted automaticly from lowest price to highest price....this is what i am doing...i import the data on one sheet then display only the information i need on another sheet where i have all the formulas and stuff...i have some other things i need as well..maybe i could e-mail you with some of the problems i am having or you know of a site that will help me...thanks

Shaun,

If you goto the Data menu there is a sort selection in there all you have to do is highlight the data you wish to sort and select the coloumns you want to sort them by. You can give me an email at racingnovie@yahoo.com.au if you like and I'll try and help as best I can.

Ok thanks...that part i know...but if i have any trouble will e-mail you....what i wanted was an auto sort i used a macro to do what i needed...never used them before but it worked good

duno of your aware shaun but macros are a user defined tool & often we cant see the woods for the trees, new eyes can often find a way where old ones cant - thats why i offered.

if you can help with this or maybe even go a step further and use visual basic to design something.....am thinking on these lines...my e-mail is shaun2166@hotmail.com i can give you more info on what i need the program to do

Ok another delema...i need to get my information that i have calculated from my excel doc to a text doc with out formating and exactly how i want it....i can send you an example of what i need
