CANADA 3.00
SWEDEN 4.25
USA 4.35
CZECH REP 6.00

So far I'm thinking...

Sweden or USA. Both show better for and against than Cananda. Sweden were unlucky in '02 to be knocked out by Belarus. They had already beaten Canada 5-2. Canada then beat Belarus 7-1. Go figure.

Once the Canadians got a sniff in the finals they weren't gonna be stopped... and playing the USA in the '02 final fired them up big time.

The danger for Canada will be in the group stage, especially against the USA.

We'll se how the match odds shape up when they're posted.

Good luck all.

Canada 2 ($1.98) beat USA 1 ($2.58) - Tie ($4.00)

Canada was paying $1.98 about 30 mins before game time. I was expecting much lower odds, so I did OK.

Next matches

Canada ($1.56) v Slovakia ($4.60) (Tie not up)

Canada good value here again.

Czech Rep. ($3.35) v Sweden ($2.00) Tie - $4.00

Good value for Sweden.

Sweden 4 beat Czech R. 3

Sweden was cruising, 4-0 in the third period, until the Czechs scored 3 unanswered in the final period.

Canada 5 beat Slovakia 1

Canadians pummeled the Slovakians who were without some stars.

Next up:

Germany $7.60 v Finland $1.41, Tie $5.60
USA $1.75 v Russia $3.40, Tie $4.20

Will check for value later today/tonight.
