don raphaels race.
sometimes i think they would be better off posting cheques out to the nominated connections and move on to the next race. it would save time and get a dud race off the program. surely there are some stayers out there somewhere. imagine what the metropolitan is going to be like. time the metrop was downgraded to a listed race. |

Hear! Hear!! My sentiments exactly. The TATTERSALL'S PLATE on Saturday was such a crap field for a listed race, I publicly tipped Ears Ronny ops: (which managed 2nd anyway) _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Geez on 2004-09-07 20:39 ] |

only a desperate would back ears' ronny as much as i loved the horse.
his best days were over 4 years ago. they even said on saturday he is up for sale. at 10 years of age and very infrequent wins i hate to think who the buyer might be. oh brother. |

actually i think Ears Ronny could win a few races up north but i'm guessing they would put to much weight on him...
Didnt Persian Punch keep on keeping on at about 13 ?? or something.. |

We can't complain, just look at our Perth Cup field each year.....then again Brisbane's Cups are not that much better.
