For a while I kept a database on horses that have super finnishes, and this horse regularly makes up 90% of the field in the last 400m. Has anybody else even noticed? Except 2 weeks ago when he came near last, so he's still getting back to his best after the spell. The horse is posessed!

saw someone comment recently on this forum that this horse is somewhat difficult in the head.
reliability is a worry.

Funny horse to ride ..lacey morrison really struggled to work him out but i do think Purton rides him very well.Horses like him rarely win because he needs so much luck in running. Still cappable of winning a few descent races ..

You can add an adelaide horse called Stamen to that list. He won last start but didn't beat much. He settles last in nearly all of his races and has a hell of a sprint i cant see him winning to many races but i can just picture him getting the bob in, in a blanket finish to a really nice race.

I think above is the tip you were talking about Starcraft. Since this post he's been an unlucky second and two wins from 3 starts a very nice money spinner indeed.

Damn straight! I've been watching him, but didn't bet on him until the weekend. Good stuff Mr Ed! Let me know if there's any more where he came from...
