did anyone notice hobart races toady...
the tab nsw website had the following...
race 1-2-4-7 as selections to win as well as late mail / all were marked as 100 on tabonline.....interesting

all short but taken as a 4 race allup it showed a nice return

thought the forum users could use this in future plays

I spent yesterday being a spectator (Sky) and having a break from the punt.

Just to give myself an interest I printed the (NSW tab) selections for six of the seven meetings. The seventh place could have been on the moon for all I know.Never heard of it.

Overall the tipsters were succesful scoring 68.8% winners.Admittedly, this was with multiple selections,,but I think that most of us punt that way.

I thought that was pretty fair scoring particularly seeing that the average dividend on the last four races at Sandown was $23.25.I wouldn't expect god to select those.

I did the hindsight re-assesment and with my own selection methods I would have been slaughtered yesterday.

Instead of taking the paper to the loo this morning I just pondered over yesterdays racing instead.I came to the conclusion that local knowledge in those country areas can translate into a lot of $$$..

 I will not be doing a quantum leap from methods that are proving succesful for me,,,,however,,, I might start giving those country guys a bit more than a casual glance.

Good luck...Good punting....
