Smile NBL round 10...

Wednesday night action starts with the Crocs travelling to the Razorbacks.

Razorbacks 1.47 (-4.5)
Crocs 2.70

Tough kind of game to start the round but Im thinking phaps the Razorbacks who found form last week in the 2nd game with the Kings can and will get the job done here against the Crocs (Crocs away record isnt great either)

Prediction:- Razorbacks Ml and cover

Good luck people lets turn this sinking ship around!

God! There I was a week ago saying I wouldn't bet on NBL ever again.

Oh well, I picked the Game to be under 195.5 today at $1.80. Yeeehah.

CRAP!!! Well, I backed the Crocs again cos I'm in love with them-they've lost 5 in a row now, so, I've really fixed them up!

Anyone want to sink a team to a few staright losses? Just let me know and I'll start backing them for you!

And what's happened to Rillie?!?!?!

I think there are 4 morals on Sat night though...Hawks, Pirates, Bullets, 6ers.

By the way, Beljulian-where's Shad???

Can I answer that one? I assume you're talking about Rashad Tucker. He's been released from the Wildcats because apparently he was not a 'team player'. They're getting Ontario Lette in his place. He's a handy replacement, but it's still a big decision.

Why are you in love with the Crocodiles, and why did you back them last night AWAY from home? I hardly ever bet on away teams. A narrow Razorbacks win is about what I would have expected.

Default Friday and Saturday night action...

Friday night....

Breakers@Woll Hawks :- Wollongong at home will win against the travel poor New Zealanders but by how much? The line for the Hawks is -13.5 and in all fairness to them they should get it but...The Hawks play the next night against Sydney in Sydney and im sure they will have that game on their minds.

Selection....Hawks to win yes but cover, not sure. Take the Breakers at the line on offer if they r your team.

West Sydney@36ers:- Adelaide should win here as they did earlier on in the year at home but the pigs with the +8 points on offer at the line might be appealing as they have won two in a row and might like their chances on the road. Adelaide have been solid and unbeaten at home this year!

Selection....Adelaide to win @ 1.25

Hawks@Kings:- A most unenviable situation for the Hawks having to back up with an away game against Kings. Once before this year the Hawks have had a home game followed by an away game and they went 1-1 then (the follow up away game being a loss to Hunter by 9) and it looks like they will go 1 - 1 here in this situtation. Yes the Hawks will beat the Breakers at will but come undone the night here against Sydney. Surprisingly the Hawks r favourites here!

Selection....Take Sydney at the juice price of 2.30 or at the line (+3)
I like this game as the 2nd Play Of The Week

Tigers@Pirates.....Revenge for the old Tigers? Its a tough call and a tough game for both teams. Hunter have already beaten Melbourne at home once this year in a mild surprise but with both teams playing only once this round Im thinking the Tigers can make it second time lucky. A win either way wouldnt surprise me though.

Selection....Melb Tigers at pick em

Breakers@Bullets:- An easy win for the Bullets and they will get it as they please by comfortable double digits. It has horror story for the Breakers written all over it. They have alreay beaten N.Z at home and will do so easier with the Breakers backing up with their second away game in as many nights.

Selection......Play Of The Week! Bullets to cover -14 (yes i know its big but dont let it put u off!)

Crocodiles@Wildcats:- Wildcats should win but at home this year they have struggle at times and even lost to the Pirates in a shocker so Im thinking maybe the Crocs with the line of +7.5 is worth considering but then again....

Best of luck people! Lets get a few wins at least and keep going. Would appreciate arguments for or against my selections and all kinds of feed back.

My person opinion is that when Ontario Lett became available on the market (a player Fisher wanted to sign during the pre-season) it was time for one of the two current imports to be shown the door. Ellis has been in fine form recently; Tucker injury-prone. Bye bye Tucker. Combine this with the injury to Burston and a big man such as Lett looks like the answer.

There have been dozens of reasons dished up, but I think this one is the most plausible. Lett arrived at Perth Airport (from a day-long flight) five hours after the Tucker sacking was announced. In regards to Tucker not being a "team player" -- Fisher had to say something at the press conference, didn't he?
