Anyone got any ideas about tonight's game between Melbourne and Hunter?

I am leaning towards the Pirates because the Tigers wil probably be missing a few players (Mcdonald, Tucker and Mottram) and Thomas is just coming back from an injury.

Also the Pirates have beaten the Tigers twice already this season and the other game they choked away a double digit second half lead.

The only thing that worries me is that if the Tigers are to win the season series they must win by 17, which makes me feel uneasy about the spread being only 7.5.

I figure the safe bet may be to take the over 203.5 because the Tigers will be trying to score a stack of points and Hunter will have to try and keep pace.

Let me know your thoughts.

I like Perth against Melbourne tonight. Decent price and they'll be eager to break their drought. I don't think Melbourne will have enough to beat the Wildcats tonight.

Small bet for me but a confident one, none the less.

Good call on the Perth game Knowledge.

I am also thinking of having the Hawks after they destroyed the Bullets last night. Supposedly Brannen and Rucker might not play and I can't for the life of me see how they will turn around 17 points in one day!!

Bullets are the most over-rated team in the league. They continue to lose but bookies continue to give their opponents nice odds.

I don't see why Wollongong won't win, they won last night by 17 points and 24 hrs later I don't see why they won't beat them again. I've had a bet on them.

That's it in the NBA for me. Perth -2.5 is a pretty small spread to cover so might as well bet on it. The match is on foxtel too which is good.

Well a night of upsets so far with Hunter beating Adelaide and Brisbane currently hammering Wollongong!!

I cannot figure it out - 36ers and Hawks played well midweek, while the Pirates and Bullets were ordinary and now those two sides come out playing like a bunch of all-stars.

If that stays true for the next game then Melbourne who played well on Thursday Night should lose tonight.

Hey if you guys were going to bet on who would top score out of these 4 who would you choose?

Gaze($2.20), Thomas($6), Lett($4) or Ellis($4)??

By my reckoning, Brisbane made up 38 points in one day, just by going from an away game to a home game. Surely home court isn't that much of an advantage!!!

I'm starting to get the impression of match fixing, seriously. That is way to big a turn around.

I hope Perth get up tonight.

At $1.52 at home I couldn't pass it up.

You are right K-man - Perth have now been officially blacklisted!!

They were absolutely brutal tonight. Carfino and Casey kept going on about how they were putting so much effort in, but in the end they still got smashed.

Until they get a half decent PG who can run the offense and a big man who doesn't foul out after about 20 odd minutes they will continue to get hammered.

The way they are playing they will be lucky to hang on to a top 8 spot.
