Default Stats anyone...?

Was just wondering if anybody with the means could let me know the winning percentage of favourites in all races but the quadrella. If it is unknown which races were part of the quaddie, please exclude races 4,5,6,7.

I figure that it is easier to judge a horses form if they are new to the races, as most of the races to include would be maidens and 2 or 3yos....

Answer-- 30%
Same as any other race .
If the figure was any less the difference would show up in the other races , to make up the general percentage of 30%.

I`m not sure how one would get the perception that these races produce less favs that get up.

I think we actually had some figures on here previously about this and the strike rate for favourites went something like this:

Race 1 32%
Race 2 31%
Race 3 31%
Race 4 30%
Race 5 30%
Race 6 29%
Race 7 29%
Race 8 28%

But the price of winning favs did also increase progressively from R1 to R8 to compensate for the smaller strike rate.

Is there anything you don't know Sportznut?
You must eat, sleep and live SPORT!
And your pockets must be a bottomless pit of money!

Yes like you said with those races, less favourites win certain races but the winners are at a slightly longer price.
Whatever way you look at it,you still end up losing 15% of your input over time.

I wish. I might be pretty good at tipping, stats and systems etc, but I reckon I'm a shocking punter and I've got plenty to learn. I make lots of dumb bets and I tend to be too cautious to take advantage of my good ones.

Default Thanks....

Thanks guys, obviously a question worth asking if it has been asked before.... Thought I had better ask though after 6 out 7 favourites got up in the first races yesterday before a big losing sequence in the middle races...
