I'm afraid I don't quite know what you're asking? Could you give an example or something?

Shaun, I have read your question, but somewhere along the line it boggles me a bit.

Average price required. OK
System selects same horse, what is the average price ?

Do you mean, unit allocation amount, to bet on all the runners concurrently, and if system A and system B had the same selection ??

Or,
A & B same selected runner was paying 5.00, average price of the 5.00 ?

??

bank: 300.00 divide by 3
100 each.

sys1 bet 3 units
=====================
sys2 bet 3 units

if same selection, treat as seperate bet, but
if both win, split winnings to bank ?

sys3 bet 3 units
====================

shaun is this for all selections reguardless of if they won or not.if not just minus outlay from div so if you backed 3 horses and had winner paying $10 mins 3 outcome $7 return and do that for all. and all systems must be done individually,as well as banks and % bet.as im sure they all have diffrent sr%.

yes each system has been setup individualy so what i have right now is

OUTLAY $261.00
RETURN $288.34
PROFIT $27.34
T.O.P 10.48%
WINS 53
S/R 60.92%
A/P $5.44

OUTLAY $185.00
RETURN $223.09
PROFIT $38.09
T.O.P 20.59%
WINS 33
S/R 37.93%
A/P $6.76

OUTLAY $87.00
RETURN $139.09
PROFIT $52.09
T.O.P 59.87%
WINS 18
S/R 20.69%
A/P $7.73

these are the three systems in questions all using multiple runners but each system is using the same runners so 2 system may include one runner the first system does cover all the winners from the 87 that this has been run on...System basicly the same way you have set your out you know what i mean....now i am trying to get an overall picture of the situation and this is as far as i have got

ALL THREE COMBINED
OUTLAY $533.00
RETURN $650.52
PROFIT $117.52
T.O.P 22.05%

am i able to get an average win price from all these figures or would it be easier to just add the three A/P (average price) togeather and the devide by three.

yes shaun im sure u can just devide by 3.or take all winning divs including the 1,s that you backed 2 or 3 times and aver them.think it works out same.try this to shaun get mediam of winning prices and aver then only back runners over mediam see how your s/r and pot look.

Ok...think i worked out where i was going wrong......to get a true avearge price for multiple selections you need to divide your return by your outlay this will give you the priced you were paid for the winner...then to get an avearge of that you just add up all the prices and divide by number of winners....then to get what i need for three different systems i will just add all the prices from both and devide by all the winners...
