I thought that Step Ahead might have the foot on the till he didn't get a crack at them last time when he was coming into the race very nicely with average luck he could be a very good E/W bet in this race Gallieni will be hard to beat and didn't mind the looks of Triple Pe and Consular in the triffecta thought that Promoted mighyt improve today to.

For what it's worth, I've done some ratings for this race and this is what I've come up with:

5 GALLIENI
4 SHOW BIZ KID
15 NESSUNO
9 MITANNI
13 TRIPLE PE
1 CONSULAR

My ratings actually have Gallieni as a short priced favourite, but I'm not too sure about that. It looks like a damn hard race to me, so I'm not very confident.

Well done Topsy. That bad run had to come to an end.

I managed to find the trifecta, so not a bad result for us I guess.

I was getting excited with my E/W bet on Step Ahead on the home turn looked like it might be a show but it just plodded along in the straight to finish 6th I think couldn't believe it was 60-1 though

Default A Kennedy

What a great race! Good on Consular for getting up again... Mitanni should have won though - too bad A. Kennedy stopped riding it 2 lengths before the post!
