Hello punters.
We are semi-retired from years of hard work. It was worth it.

We are looking forward to sharing information to make a system in horse racing. Preferably using XL and Internet, we have read may ideas.
The expirience comes mainly from the TAB screens, but they now seem too fast in updated prices, but believe computer can capture something.
It's hobby for now but hope it may prosper.
Basicaly, apologies in advance for any "silly questions" that might be asked in future by us.

Thank you

Welcome, there are never ever any silly questions, just ask and I'm sure someone amongst the subscribers on the Pro-Punter forum will either be able to answer or at the least point you in the right direction.

Just a few words of advice, don't go putting your hard earned down to any great amount until you feel confident enough that you are on a winner.

Wink Suggestions Please

Hi guys I need some input on a method I have developed. I need some ideas on how to stake it, all suggestions gratefully accepted.

The basic stats on it are:

Selects two horses in a race. Finds the winner of those selected races 45% of the time. Average winners dividend of $4.50.
I am after some thoughts on how to make it as profitable as possible.

Thanks and good punting.

Thanks, your welcome.

As hobby, it is just that. Budgeting is important so we figured to use what was once "out to dinner" or the "night out" proportion of income,it is far wiser to "spend" this money on a bet these days.
Still the same, come home and watch TV afterwards !
But to bet, it will be missed anyway just like going out and spending if a bet is lost.
But to bet and win, is like finding money on the pavement on the night out !
Better chance finding a winner on TAB than finding money on pavemet.

My apologies Katesgeorge. I have inadvertantly started a post on your thread, I do apologise. I wish you all the best and may the god of good luck in punting shine upon you.

Welcome to the Money for Nothing Club [lots of members here from the Flat Earth Society too].

Finding money on the pavement sound just as valid a way riches as the TAB, At least with all the exercise from pavement searching, health benefits are to be gained !!

Gai's tips are usually worth looking at.On a 10 x 10 investment yesterday they would have returned a 20% profit.

She is usually not far from the money and gives an open assessment on each of her tips.

Try this staking approach for betting 2 horses a race .
Start off at 2 units on each horse , now increase the previous bet by 50% .

Repeat bet if a winner is struck but have not fully recovered loss.

The objective here is to strike 2 winners in a row & this should recover all previous losses.

Increase the bet to a max of 7 goes before sarting from the begining.
The bets on each horse would look like this.
E.g. 2,3,5,8,12,18,27=75 X 2 = 150

The reason why we set this to 7 goes before ruling off is because the medium average outs is 5 ,it also helps the bank from blowing out of controll

One should have at least 3 banks of 150 to do this exercise.

The longest run of outs that you should expect with a 45% SR is 12 in a row.
