Given I bet for a place, this post isn't worth the pixels it's written on. However, I think the race will be too quick (predicting a race record on good turf) for the backmarkers to get past Falvelon, Lord Essex and Century Kid in that order.

I agree totally Placegetter. Falvelon and Lord Essex will both be improved since their last run, Falvelon particularly. Century Kid is the knock out horse.

Those that believe that weight is a crucial consideration when assessing form obviously won't have backed Century Kid last start when it carried the grandstand and won easily in good time. It should be excellent value today.

Not any more obviously. It's a late scratching.
