On my computer you see the occasional tick beside a post.
Does that mean the moderators consider that a worthwhile post.?

i have also noticed this but i dont think they ever do really good at all

Not sure what you mean. Maybe you can give a post as an example. But when you scroll right down the forum home page there are some indicators showing "hot post" etc.

Sorry. these indicators are beneath eg. this forum when you scroll right down from this forum's home page where you see the list of all the topics posted in this particular forum.

Darky, mickmc is correct a tick indicates you have posted in that thread.
