ALL of EI's selections are last start winners. Something to consider when choosing your own.

A good % of winners, are last start winners.
11/19 last w/e for melb, syd and bris (3yos and up, excl hurdles)

Problem is - what if there are 6 last start winners in a race?? You need other filters to identify the right horse.

# I look at a horse's last 2 starts.

# The majority of winners on metro meetings on sat ran a place in either of its past two starts.

# Nearly all winners ran in the first 5 in either of there past 2 starts.

# Most winners, finished within 4.5 lengths of the leader last start.

See stats posting on this site from last saturday.

Good on you Gun Punter. These are the type of postings we know you are capable of. Much more positive and useful to the general forum user.

What do you think of the "finished within 4.5 lengths" stat? It's the most subjective as we don't know how the jockey rode once the race was lost.
