Default Pom Pom System

This system relies on the little-known fact that some trainers indicate when their horse is ready to win, or which horse is the best horse in the stable, by adding a pom pom to the jockey's uniform

The rules of the system are as follows:

1. Only Saturday and Public holiday race in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adeleide.

2. The selection must be the only horse in the race to carry a pom pom.

3. The selection must have been placed at at least one of its past three runs.

4. The selection must have had at least three starts.

5. The selection must be drawn no wider than barrier 11.

6. Each selection is to be backed each way.

POM POM SYSTEM SELECTIONS FOR 23 APRIL 2005:

Caulfield:

Race 7 No.6 Cassimir

Cheltenham:

Race 3 No.7 Miss Ab Fab

Race 6 No.16 Boss Iron

Race 7 No.2 Creative Plan

**note - this system picked the last Melbourne Cup

Talking Alternate theory

What about if the Horse is ridden by a Jockey From England- a POM!!

Would you then halve the bet(only one POM)?

Food for thought!!

If the horse carries a POM POM and is ridden by an English Jockey, it's the POM POM POM system.

If the horse is English and so is the trainer in addition to the above, then it's the POM POM POM POM POM system.

I'm with Mark on this complex unworldly problem.

It's only a visionary with clairvoyance that can navigate us mere mortals thru this cauldron of descision to resolution....

Hay Chee, Oh great one where is your wisdom.
