Default Favourites in small fields

Hullo,

I have been in a hiatus, refining my investment strategies.
However, of particular concern to me at the moment is the non-performance of favourites in small fields.
I bring to the attention of all punters the "wealth hazard" of backing favourites in small fields currently.
I will not go into my theories why this is happening but I can assure you that at the moment, to back favourites in such races is truly a "wealth hazard."
What can we do? Follow the money.......
What I am getting at is that for decades, the favourite in a small field was a "good bet" as, theoretically, it could avoid interference and such in race obstacles.
However, this has now changed, and changed dramatically, therefore the astute punter will factor this aspect into his/her form analysis.
I look forward to similar form students to provide their valued input to this matter.
Cheers.
