Default Favourite stats

Think this has been put up before, but I am unable to find
anything in the archives:
Need favourites who won by price/percentage
The avg of all favourites winning is approx 30%
What I need is the breakdown by price (winning favs only)

1: price $0-$1.5 plus %
2: price $1.5 -$2 plus %
3: price $2 - $2.5 plus %
4: price $2.5 - $2.99 plus %

5: price $3 - $3.5 plus %
6: price $3.5 - $4 plus %
7: price $4 - $4.5 plus %
8: price $4.5 - $5 plus %

9: price $5.01 up plus %

Would be greatly appreciated if at all possible

Regards
Shalor

place2win, shucks I can't answer your question which annoys me as I purchased a book on this subject (in depth) a few years ago chucked out by my ** wife grrrr!

Anyway just by way of feedback, as you already know the lower the price the higher the S/R and also the LOWER the loss. In other words the ones that give you the best chance of breaking even are believe it or not "ODDS ON SHOTS".
Tantalisingly this holds true for just about any set of selections picked by any method.
Now that's a bit disconcerting when you really think about it isn't it?

Interesting also almost exact figures are derived from the pre-post fav V actual favs. over long periods of time.

I guess you could assume that, but I can not confirm. Someone else perhaps?

It's well known that I am as dumb as, cos I've been married twice, so I perused that list stix, and I'm sure that I have just "missed" it, but just to humour me can you explain say the first stat, $0-$1.5plus = 4.2%???

I think that 4.2% is the percentage of all winners, not the winning percentage in that range. If you add all the percentages up they come to 100%.

oooowwhaaa, mmmmm, ok, so 4.2% of all favs. fall in range yes?

Ok so what we want to know is of that 4.2% WHAT % win and WHAT do they return for each $ bet..... YES?

Further to that we need to know:
@ best tote
@best tote or SP
@ Top fluc

I suspect close to 90% i.e. 10% loss on tuurnover (@best possible price)....... right?

I also suspect that if you say LESS than evens your LOT (loss on turnover , regardless of selection method will decrease to close to 5%)

So where to now then?????

If I am right? the % beside each price range is the % of winning favs only
That was what I originally asked for (Only winning favs in the respective price range) and this only applys to metro events.

To make it clearer, maybe I should have asked the following:
In the above price ranges, what percentage ot favourites won their race.
