Race 1,
I have FastnStraight and More On the Toe very close here,,,,I thought Fastnstr8 could race more forward here as there doesnt look like theres any speed at all in this,,i just hope they arent all excited about his last run where he came from the back,,hes shown he can race forward and really has to in this race,, the extra distance looks good and he might be some sort of value ,,,More On the toe another that will have to take advantage of the inside draw,,,did very well last start and this is way easier,,,,,i have these two on top quite easy so i'll be looking at the quiny ,,,Line By Line, Campeche, Yukon Lad / Jackson Hill the others for 3rd.....interesting to watch Glen Colless to see if hes riding fit as he missed fridays races,,
Race 3,
Secrets Untold on top here,,,he can take his time moving across from the wide draw in the small field..he was excellent last start and won very well the start before,,,Seamer knows him well and knows when to press that button,,,,..Prosecution could lead this and if he stacked them up could sneak a break on Secrets ,,,has alittle weight releif off him,,,He's not the best jumper though and they won't want to dig him up as he might over race,,,I'd really think his only chance is to lead and if they do there speed map they'll agree,,, he likes the track and is consistent the distance.....Fulmonti i doubt will have the tempo he needs here,,but still classy enough to be in the money,,
Race 4,
I was surprised to have Bold Reason and Ima Joker rated clearly on top,,they are both drawn alittle awkward but have the speed to cross most of these,,,They both should atleast get cover and be to good,,,Bold Reason races well fresh and the claim helps,,ImaJoker will find this easier than last start and Colless a better chance at finding a posie,,,Agnes Dream and Release me place chances..
Race 5,
Barclays and Regal Gaze ,,,,Thought Barclays run up north was excellent and ran into unsuitable wet tracks down in Sydney,,,ran well considering...gets the good track tomorrow and an even tempo to suit I’m thinking we can get some odds aswell..,,,Regal Gaze wont get it as easy up front this time,,still should have the run of the race but will have company and this race should be run at a better tempo,,,Barclays has the awfull barrier but gets right back anyway,,,will probably snick straight across to the rail ,,Sir Coup rates high and you should forget his last run where he sat in the breeze way to far forward,,,will get the nice smother on the inside and a definite chance in this,,,,Bear Valley / Derry City / Take the Plea the next best...
Race 6,
Looks another match race between Momentously and Desdemona , ,,,..Desdemona will have to do alitle more work but i still think will win,,,Momentously had the good run last start and couldnt catch her and i doubt will get an easier run this time,,has a alittle weight releif but i dont think enough...Desdemona will go forward and sit behind the leaders again and will be real hard to catch and with the blinkers off she has the option of taking the sit alittle further back.....Pagan County rates high but the weight is a worry,,she'll be coming late though and just needs the gaps like last start,,,Junk In Trunk the next ,,shes racing well and will have Momentously to follow into the race...Not a race I’m very keen on as I don’t think I’ll get the odds I need,,,
Race 8,
Really liking this Deacon,,,shoud get the good run and is very consistant,,might be looking for alittle longer but still in this ordinary race and the blinkers should keep him nippy enough,,,Tisani Boy looks ok and has been racing well in Toowoomba,,first time in the big city and the breeding is a query..Overanxious looks like getting the gun run the danger,,

A good day :) Started really well,,FastnStraight wasn't loved by anyone ,,got real nice odds on track ,,,seemed to be alot of big money late (not mine) but he was ahrdly mentioned by the regular tipsters,,,Some times you just have to trust your ratings ,,,,didnt settle forward as i expected but finished powerfully ,,,
Race 3,
Secrets was to good,,,better odds than expected as well...,,didnt expect Ready when you are to race so well,,had him pegged as a wet tracker,,
Race 4,
Excellent result,,,didnt expect Bold Reason to be so far back but flew home,,strange on a day where with the rail out its usually hard to make that sort of ground.....
Race 5,
With all these horses making ground from the back i was all over Barclays ,,,things were going to plan but just couldn't get there,,maybe had enough this prep...,,would have been better laying Regal GAze who was just way under the odds..
Race 6,
Left this alone,,,but really liked the way Desdemona ran,,,she raced without the blinkers and settled back and wide but still only went down by a nose hair,,,has a future this thing,,(how good is simplest ??)
Race 8,
HAd a go at Deacon,,as did alot of people,,,missed the start and ran on well,,,good thing beaten and will be winning next start..

Ready to Impress a bit unlucky but an ok place divie,,,Xavier ridiculous odds,,,Black Piranha to good,,had to love the way Tye kept Mr Dye in the pocket :) Hairy missed a run and should have gone close,,,

Had a good go at September,,heard a whisper about it and there was some good money for it,,,ran well but thought the jock lacked any vigour,,,,
Gold Coast is alittle suss to me and yes i've heard the stories,,,,,left Encargo alone

Russeting was incredibly short,,i was super confident but not at that price,,,,,had every chance and i'm glad i leave them in the red,,,

Race 1, Even with the scratchings it still looks a real good tempo up front,,theres a few here that will want to lead,,Broadway Venture will get the sit behind them on the rail ,,,and Sneaky Squirell ,,now this horse does a few things wrong but i think the senior stronger rider on board might be the key here,,should settle midfield and has ability...not much between them ,Lord Nediym can run the time to win this (jockey ??) and Sneaky Squirell more scope to improve and Broadway venture the gun run,,,,,I'd be working around these 3 with the exotics and looking for value..

Race 3, I'm worried about the tempo here,,looks as though Somersea Drv should lead and maybe Bitabiff on his outside,,,I'm thinking BloodnBone will sit just behind them , one out and will be to good the last 50m,,,not much between him and Somersea but i'm really warming to Bloodnbone,,he loves it around here and should be nice odds,,good exacta..

Race 4, Another where the tempo could be slow,,,I was all over Arts last start but he was always going to get it run to suit,, here it might be different,,,Derivative Reciept looks to be on the pace and looks well placed with no weight,,,,Arts with class the next best and Ready When You Are who'll be forward the next....

Race 5, Better tempo here,,,looks like they'll run along nicely here and this should suit Tripitz and Double or nothing,,,Double looks to be getting the best run and should find the rail quite easily,,,Tripitz has been hitting the line nicely,,,Kintye Conquest and Cockaigne the next and don't leave out Sheeza Qlder as a roughie,,she'll race better this distance and could be running home late..

Race 6, My Limit the obvious but might be unders,,thought the toppy Burgundy prince looked good last start..should get a nice run and might be nice e/w odds,,Pass the bubbly in the mix for the exotics,,

Race 7, Sashenka looks a special,,has class and really liked the way she picked herself up again last start and finished well.....thought Happy Finish a likely improver,,Yorke doesnt waste his time so he must think the horse can run the distance,,,might be good odds aswell..

Race 8, Not a race i'm keen on but Lennon looks well placed,,,and thought Morning Colours fresh could run a nice race,,,looks an improver this prep and especially over alittle longer but could still figure in this ordinary field..

Race 1, Broadway venture ran well ,, Snealy Squirell is a bit of a nut, Lord Nedym made a stack of ground and thought Stature ran a nice race..
Race 3, Good run BloodnBone,,reall got warm the last 50m,,didnt agree the tactics with Somersae Drv so far back,,,Grand Laddie looks good for longer..tempo not good strong enough for Hard to catch and Bloodnbone.
Race 4, Derivative finished nice but just way to far back,,good run Arts Success ,,again the small field tempo against them and lack of initiative by the jock (or trainer?)
Race 5, Things went to plan here,,Double or Nothing very strong but an ordinary field,,
Race 6, My Limit a bit to short for me but way to good,,,,,Burgundy prince just out of the money ran well..
Race 7, Sashenka to classy,,,,Happy Finish knocked up,,distance ?
Race 8, Lennon a huge run but tooo much to do,,,thought Kanpeki ran well..

Looks a hard day in Brissie,,,dont like the 1st but you'd think Double or Nothing should continue to win,,Fulmonti in the 2nd should win this easily,,,I think Regal Castenea the horse with the most upside but does have that flat spot when he races ,,not much speed in the race so i hope Scotty keeps him focused...Hard race the 4th but maybe Release me e/w ,,The 5th maybe Prince Vallen atleast bred to appreciate it,,,6th Rockdale looks a bit of class should be fitter and Colless will nurse him home,,7th thought Kanpeki could run a cheeky race ,,the alley might be ok out there , likes the wet and will be forward and in the best part of the track down that straight,,,8th through a dart,,

a ok day last week but Melbourne let me down..feeling fairly confident in a few..

Junk in the Trunk deserves to break through here,,racing well from wide barriers , gets the good tempo and should find a better posie from the gate,,will still be back but hopefully alittle closer with cover..
Race 4,
My Limit looks a special but might even start in the red ? thought Latino was good last start and at the odds might be an ok e/w bet,,exacta or quinies the go ??
Race 5,
I'm a fan of Rassmussen,,,only has to be 90% to win this,,a few doubters around and a couple that might attract support so we might get backable odds
Race 7,
I think Ghettoblaster the obvious class but 8.5 kgs to Russeting whos the improver ?? i think with the expected cushy run Russeting will get hes a good chance of rolling the toppy ,,might get some odds aswell
Race 8,
Framous is racing well and even though his strikerate is ordinary he still should be a good chance in this ordinary race,,,shobelle the only other i'd consider..

Brissie started well with Junk In The Trunk finally breaking through,,got my money back with Latino,,backed Russeting at the nice overs but got it back with the quiny,,,Rassmussen to short and had a big go Framous and just missed..

Can't find alot i'm interested in at Brissie , Seems an easy day to pick winners but alot of them wll be short..

Race 1, it looks a match race between Double or Nothin and FastnStr8 ,,thought Bann Rubby the only other..
Race 2, Simplest should do it easy enough,,,Sectagonal capapble of pushing him..
Race 3, Regal Castanea and Black Morgan,,Mr Doyle frustrating but could surprise but it would be some kind of miracle....
Race 4, Victory Code should get it run to suit,,happy enough with 3's or better.
Race 5, Lennon looks a special but might be to short to consider..

Nothing happening the last couple of weeks so hoping today is a big one ,,,jagged a nice divie the other day in NZ with Tradewind ,,hes the only horse i seem to back over there and i think i've been on him in all his starts,,,he owed me ..

Little Stranger hit the line nicely behind a smart one last start and should have finished closer ,,gets a nice weight drop here...i'm a fan of Slim but didnt like his last run,,can bounce back though and this looks an easy race for him..
Race 3,
Covet Gold was ridden upside down last start,,should go back this time and with the likely tempo she can uleash a finish,,should be nice e/w odds..
Race 5,
She's in The Guide flys fresh and gets the gun run....
Race 6,
Deacon and My Limit look like fighting it out,,i might be tempted to go Latino as a long shot e/w,,raced well last start considering he missed a run and will be better this time around,,,a good race to play around with the exotics..
Race 7,
Eleda ..looked good last start and looks a horse with some potential,,,my first affair is consistant and was held up last start for a stride or two which probably cost her the race,,,again gets the gun run and will hit the lead down that straight,,,looks a nice quiny
Race 8,
Mr Doyle you'd think should win this but he seems to find a way to get beat,,,theres no world beaters in this race though and if hes ever going to win again it will be this race,,,i'm hoping im way ahead by this time so i have the courage to back him..

i like these types of days where you just need the odd winner to get ahead,,the pools are excellent ,,,you only need the one or 2 exotic results to party hearty ..

El Cambio was excellent although Swick probably should have won,,,spewing i didnt back him now,,,

still cant complain,,some great results and still have Grasspatch Girl over in belmont at nice odds still to race..(fingers crossed)

Race 6 , Like a couple of the easy rockings here,,the breed seems to like the wet. On the Fridge looks a good horse with alot of upside she's learning all the time and with the good barrier should find a nice possie. Socialist can be hard to catch but hes only run on the slow he walked in,,hes performed against better than most of these and will be running on..Rockem should trifecta the race for the sire..
Race 7 , Mr Hornblower has a bit if class and hes wet form is pretty good,,you see 0 for 5 in th heavy but thats alittle misleading..his 4th in qtc was an excellent run,,,his 2nd up form is good as is his t/d stats. Tornadic Sky will run a cheeky race here in the wet ,,and Ghetto Blaster the one they have to beat.
Race 8 , Carnegie Prince now with the scratchings comes into it,,will get back but swooping down the outside might suit this time of day,,,Sleek repeat will give cheek up front but that last 100m is the worry..Deception bay in the mix .

Jinxed me :) yep started off well but a few frustrating placings dented the bottom line . Way off in the Cup and had a good go trying to jag one of those jackpot exotics..

thought Northern Meteror a special and he can run some time,,,looks to have some sort of a future..

Miss Pagentry and Heart of dreams both rated very short and won well,,,and Baughurst surprised me alittle as he was back and wide the whole way but he just strode past them..

Brisbane was frustrating,,,Showify a good thing beat and Daunting LAd running a huge race to keep on coming..and thought Regal Gaze did well as he was always a sitting duck dragging the field up to the runaway leader..

I'm already out of my early doubles with the cups ,,,but i did have something on Zipping in the Cox very early on,,i'm spewing i didnt back him in any doubles but i got sucked into the ramblings of Mr Williams when he said he'd just be aimed at the MV cup..
He's in the Cox with a big show as he likes the track,,gives him a few points to compete against the two girls..

I'm on Zipping here and i'm happy with the early bet,,,i think he'll need some luck but i really dont think he'll be as far back as usual
he has always had such bad luck with barriers but this time hes drawn ideally.. He'll be a few lengths closer than usual and that should be enough..
Maldivian the one to catch,,i liked his last run and he looks to get the good run behind maybe theseo or raheeb...Samantha miss will need some luck,,i have her on the inside probably behind Big Mal so she'll need that slpit,,probably got the best jock in the world for this scenario as he always seems to get lucky..
I have the Princess back and wide and she'll be finishing strongly i just dont think she can make the ground up she needs here at MV
Zipping / Maldivian / Samantha Miss / Princess Coup for the Exotics i'd add Master Orielly ..

wow a real struggle today .
thank god for the Cox plate. Nice when you get it right :) i've been going ok in the Big ones so far this spring...Missed in CC but then again i think everyone did.
Walking or Dancing was hurtfull,,huge run as he was never on the track..Mr Baritone did well, and Mr Hornblower is starting to cost me a stack..(perfect ride by colless on the ghetto)

Not a great day but not to bad at all,, 2 out of 15 you'd think i'd had to walk home...The Cox has been real good to me the last couple of years...and should have been 3 !! still havent forgiven Gauci ;)

Craig Williams is really struggling,,he used to be rated up there with Colless , Bowman and Nash but hes lost alot of form as has the stable...hes lost all timing as he seems desperate to get a few winners.

Trying to get decent odds for Dark target but it doesnt look promising..I'm might have a spec on Grasspatch Girl e/w...I backed this horse last time but the jock weighed in light,,i've noticed i havent recieved a refund....should i be getting my money back ?? never happened to me before..

How impressive was Dark Target !! this thing can run time and there might be a couple of good races over the east he can run in. The Summer sprints maybe..

Like Rampant Lion in the Sale cup ,,Hes a tough old aaaaaa and will put himself into the race with a chance. Thought Windshear a chance for the exotics ,,hes a real nice horse and i'm just hoping the trainer hasnt wrecked him.
Friscos In Charge at the Sunny Coast looks a good bet today.
Phantom Thief in Cessnock if we get a price..

Race 2 . Caymans is flying and looks suited at Flemo ,,over Dr Doutes and Millbank

Race 3. Light Vision almost a special here,,ran very well when never on the track last start ,,,I like the Jockey change with Largo Lad and i think Olly will ride this horse like a locomotive,,stoke him up and surge before the turn,,hes not a push button type...these the two over Moatize and Newport.

Race 4. Sparks Fly ,,looks to appreciate the 2000m ,,i think Michelle took off way to early last start but she would have learnt a thing or two from that,,i'm happy with the 8.50 i got last night,,,,,dangers Estee / Oval Affair / Tobougie woogie.

Race 6. I'm giving Princess Coup a huge chance in this,,i think shes going very well and just not suited at MV and especially off the slow tempo,,she'll get the good tempo here and the strong crazy whip rider in Froggy who'll get the best out of her,,,the danger is Littorio ,,ok run in the CC ,,but around here is more his go,,,,Viewed running on into the money with Barbaricus and Theseo sticking on..

Race 7. I'm taking on Whobegotyou ,,yes i'm crazy but i wasnt totally convinced his last run and has that tendency to lay in...Larry's never late and Buffet both look suited the distance and i've backed them both at the good odds ,,,

Race 8, . Tan Tat Delago was fantastic her last run,,runs the distance out and is way overs at the 11's ,,,I liked Bernicia's run in the same race had to go wide where as Tan Tat got the inside runs (also like the jockey change).. the distance looks suited and 15's is overs..,,,Ab Fab, Mimi and Forensics the place getters...

Race 9, Publishing 17's likes the str8 6 here ,,ran ok last start but Armold couldnt get him to straighten till the last 50m,,maybe the reason Armolds off ?? dont know as i think hes a class rider but Hall is good in his own right,, the blinkers should do the trick anyway,,maybe he was watching the crowd.,,will get to the outside rail and will atleast make his own luck ,,I'm a fan of swick but Rodd will again have to weave through the pack,,he always needs alot of luck,,and Fritz's Princess and Hot Danish are both honest ,,they dont run bad races but this will be an experience the first time for them here ,,,,hard race and very open with Sunburnt lad and Aichi also classy ,,,i'm going for the value in Publishing..

Race 10, Pinnacles at huge odds looks like getting the good run in this,,,his run was better than Snipers Bullet last start and Pinnacles will be closer and should get the better run,, maybe 20's ??....Falaise is honest and her run with the weight last start was huge,,back them both and go for that trifecta including the fancies..

Race 8, Regal Gaze looks a special,,carted the field up to the leader last start and was a sitting duck for On the Up whos struck some form..,,Barclays the one running from the back the danger...

I knew it was going to be a bookies day out. What a wonderful result for the glass ceiling in the derby. Zoe stuck with the girls and picked the derby after me laughing at her.

Im not sure about 31s Mav, but it did open at 21s, although it came into 18s pretty quick :).....

Going well Crash :) I'm all refreshed after a holiday in Fiji (most relaxing place on earth) ...got a stack of races to watch but i'll be having a go tomorrow,,,Albert the Fat is becoming my fav horse ever ,,backed him every start so far but alittle worried about tomorrow ,
got some more work to do but the speed map doesnt help him..

Thanks Mav. Brissy looks good today and the Doomben Stks. should be a bottler!

Albert the Fat is certainly a horse on the up and it's D day for him. Does well too from outside barriers as a mid-pacer. The speed will be on with Rasmussen, Tour Guide and Sneaky Long in the race. Albert gets a nice 4.5kg weight drop for this big class rise but he certainly has enough speed. Barlinnie looks a big danger to me [attractive odds too] with 3w from 3 second up and was caught on the wrong foot in it's first Brissy race last start and the extra distance here suits. For exotics I'll throw in Tour Guide and Charming Rogue who was blocked last start and had no chance from b1.

Happy about these results and I was especially happy about Barlinnie of course. I thought he would be on the right foot today and too good for the rest of them. I think Albert the Fat, although a good horse, in jumping from $27K races to a $200k race was just a bit beyond him and too much hype surrounded the animal too. In the end, at his pathetic and undeserving odds as favorite, I didn't back him. Win or lose he was a way unders bad bet and was out-classed by plenty of runners. He certainly looked good for a moment or two and is on the up. He just went too far up too soon.

Happy with my day aswell..Sunday Adieu and Itstheone were nice results,,grabbed a slice of the tri in the Stakes aswell..
though Albert the Fats run was massive,,,dont think anythng else in the race with that run would have finished only a length off at the end ,,was around 2 points under his real odds jumping from that barrier ..but still a horse capable of winning big races..
Snipers Bullet i thought was alittle unlucky,,missed the inside run when he looked like being in the finish in the Villies,,(how good did the Qld horses do)
Tenents Tiara another unlucky horse,,,,had Rubinda on top in my tri but King Rex the old marvel surprised me running 3rd....

Don't Mind Showify today at the Sunshine Coast,,the horse hasnt had alot of luck of late ,,and the outside barrier for a horse like him that needs room isnt all that bad,,,especially on that track,,(one of the best in OZ imo) Colless isnt usually a visiter there so it might pay to keep an eye on his 2 rides..
In race 6 Vettories Image is a good roughie ,,might be 50/1 but he gets the good track today and from barrier one can roll along up front..

Just watched the replays of yesterdays races,,,how awful was Showify ,,just didnt do anything ,,Colless won't be in a hurry to come back to the Sunny Coast ,,,on a more brighter note little Luke Dittman is riding very well, seems to ride with a good sense of timing , didnt panic on Mr Slick on Saturday and rode a couple of good winners yesterday,,,the old man must be very proud.

Mav., your right of course about missing the big payout by betting just for the place or win, but I'm in an experimental mode just for the aaaa of it. I've been lucky that a few big odds have only placed lately. I've tried win only regardless of odds that saw some nice collects but was missing too many place collects, so I settled on win only under $8 and place only for $8 or over. I'll probably change that to 1x4 after the first big one that gets up for the win!

Not a fan of Gold Coast racing but i think with the cut out of the track alittle Albert The fat will be to good (2.60 isn't any value),,,Mitanni races well here and the danger,,,also thought Black Piranha a knock out chance ,,he'll need some luck but there will be a nice tempo for him and he'll come wide and run on...The Track isnt the best for his style but its not hopeless..put in Rightson and Friendly Embrace and we'll have the exotics covered..,,I'll be on Albert if i can get on,,if hes to short , play with the Exotics and an e/w on the Piranha..

By the way, to add insult to injury regarding my previous losses in NZ, Culminate and Six O'Clock News who had flopped when I rated them on top last start, both came out and won yesterday at nice odds. :(

I'm still working on it,,,,started because i was following a horse called Tradewind over there ,,so i had to look at all the fields to see when it was racing i sort of got used to looking at the fields....Still getting used to the tracks over there ect but the races are very competitive sometimes 5-6 across the track ,,,this means theres value to be had if you get it right,,

See Atapi again started his run to soon,,,weird horse that can only find the lead 30 metres out from the line or else he stops..

Nothing around today to back,,,but i must admit i'd like to see Precise timing win the Cup ,,hes a grand old campaignor and still racing well....I'll be having a few bucks on for luck..

Not an easy day. A lot of Chaff bandits running around and a few queries from top runners. Albert the Fat has become a bit ordinary the last 2 starts and might need a paddock [he'll win for sure now!]. Looking at the pace today and trying for a bit of odds from mostly back-markers that might surprise in genuine pace races. I'm going 1x3 e/w.

Gold Coast starting at race 2. Bell Acadamy from the outside barrier has a chance at odds.
R5 iluminattes and Jummana
R6 Express Air and Rock Kingdom
R8 No pace in this and Voice Commander is the only leader and Oliver might be able to slow the pace to his advantage.
R9 Utterly Fantastic and Realse me are the only backmarkers in this speedy race.
R10 Educated is the only leader with Cassidy on board.

Caulfield:
R3 Flagstaff only leader with on-pacer Great Wall of China a chance.
R4 Hidden Energy is the only back-marker.
R6 Danzlum only leader and might control the race.
R7 Plenty of pace here and Zabrin is the only back-marker at great odds too.
R8 Upper Echelon and Rada are the 2 back-markers in this fast pacer race.

I've found one in the tough race at Ippy. Race 7 No. 8 Hearty Laughter. It was scratched yesterday in what I thought what an easier race so they obviously think its a big chance. Not sure if Matty Palmer will ride it as he was thrown off a horse in the last race.

i had 14 races today with only the one $5 winner and 5 placings..
Bad luck i guess with On Bail and Rhumba Jack ,,,but dissapointing Comanding Hope and the poor Apprentice had a aaaa of a time aboard Barbaricus..
Onalar did ok ,,better outside horses but had his chance ..
Buzzy tried hard but a non winner..

Always tomorrow i guess...might have to try other peoples approaches and pick funny names and pretty colours and throw away the ratings ...baked beans on toast for me tonight :)

So a bit of a frustrating day with placings but not too bad. Don't think there is much pace in the Sunny Coast major race tomorrow so I'll be having something small on Victory Code which should go forward. Like Onasong/Raspberry Licorice in the last but both drawn a bit wide. Think Strong Spirit in the 1st probably the best of the day. If horses are making ground, have something each way on Race 3 No. 3 Sarcastically in quite an open race.

Hard to go past Black Piranha though ,,,lst two runs have been huge,,just missed last start from an imposible position and they went slow in his 1st win and he still came from last to win ,,,the horse is flying ...the wide open spaces at the Sunny Coast should suit him even more,,
Sneaky Long will be forward and suited the track and distance,,and drawn very well.,,better with cushion in the ground but the Sunny Coast is such a good surface that it should suit..
Regal Castenea suited more here than the gold coast and should improve,,

Tramantana is flying and should be too good, only concern is that there might not be enough pace in this small field. drawn to get back though and will have plenty of galloping room to storm over the top.

In the last im pretty sure the winner will come from one of the jolly runners. Tulavar is the better horse and is hittin peak fitness but rose marie won well at strath and is rock hard fit. no suprise to see them qu this here...

R5, Burdikin Blues looks to good but i doubt a price worthy of backing him,,,he's never been a horse of mine because he runs around so short ,,,means theres value with a couple of the others,,Sectagonal a seasoned pro might be overs and worth an e/w ticket,,if they are getting through the ground
then little Cardio could run a cheeky race..,,i'l be waiting to see how Sectagonal looks in the yard ,,..
R7, Ugly Betty looked good the other day,,the handicapper hasnt caught up with her yet and she likes the sting out...

Qr6 no1 Showciti ,,,always takes awhile to sort itself out in running,,the long open spaces at the Sunny Coast suit....can really sprint..

Cr8, 6 Prior Barron (Sutton Friend is interesting,,real speedy horse but hasnt been around for awhile,,pay to keep safe and keep an eye on betting as he goes well 1st up)
Cr7, 9 Frisco Miss ,,have always had luck with the Friscos,,(got one yesterday) and this one is drawn well and goes well 1stup..

Woohoo good start to the day. Also managed to jag the trifecta including the favourite and the 3rd horse. The bloke who trains the horse than ran 3rd, ian Jackson, seems to be a very good trainer. His horses seem to do nothing in the country and then come to the city and run well. He normally has a few horses at the SC.

Not a great day,,glad i took it easy ,,,my full stake goes at I'm taken (1st at $3) went well..the Other Teary eyed was ridden i think very very poorly ,,he had a stack of horse under him and he never got the horse in a winning position...
Zahas Pride won nicely,, and Cafe Bar and Madame Pedrille just missed..
Some people critised Tommifrancs being over the top but i thought he ran very well considering the tempo,,

Hoping the Aussies hold on to some catches and make this game atleast something to watch..
